Awards and recognition

Following their success and the impact of the workshop “Periconceptional intake of folic acid among low-risk women: aligning prenatal supplement content with current expert guidelines” Bénédicte Fontaine-Bisson and her colleagues,  Professors Yvonne Lamers, Amanda MacFarlane and Deborah O'Connor received the Excellence in Knowledge Mobilization Award offered by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, which recognizes the work of researchers who have made promoting and fostering the use of research beyond the academic community.
